Evelyne with turquoise glove

It was winter and we had had dinner with my parents, Evelyne and me were in the suburban train (RER) which would take us back to our little Parisian apartment.

Evelyne was so cute and desirable in her white coat, in less than an hour we would be close together. I picked up my camera to take a picture of her, but she quickly hid her face except for her beautiful eyes. In this warm atmosphere, only the turquoise glove.

I had drawn Evelyne's face from our first close moments at her parents's home, but it was my very first portrait of her.I painted it with airbrush on the following July. The same month Evelyne, some family and friends and me went to Deauville, camping on the cliff, for a week-end. No more scarf to hide your face, dear Love.

Dinner with Evelyne at Natasha

I had a dinnerwith Evelyne at parisian Russian restaurant "Natasha".

Peaceful and warmth place, at thr end of our dinner a small cat came close to Evelyne and she pet him so sweetly , I wanted so much to remmeber this moment. No digital Iphone camera at this time, only Polaroïd, but beautiful Evelyne didn't like to be photographied tha much. My poor brain, try to remmeber every detailes...

The next morning, when I got to work in the advertising agency, m only wish was to sketch what I remebered from that dinner, face to face with Evelyne's beloved cat's eyes.

New Year’s Eve

Evelyne is much better than a fashion model, she is a nurse in a hospital, she gives care and brings humanity to sick people.

Her beauty is not only outside but also inside. I have drawn hundreds of fashion models from all over the world for so many years.  No one of them gave me what Evelyne gives to me, a good lunch face to face, with such beautifuls eyes and lovely smile. 

She has the Beauty.
